“American Psycho” Author Loves The Hills
Who here has seen or read “American Psycho” by Bret Easton Ellis? Remember that scene when the main character (played by the ever-bangable Christian Bale) is running through the halls covered in blood, wielding a chainsaw in hot pursuit of another hooker he wants to kill? Okay, keep that imagine in mind when you read this quote from American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis: “I think ‘The Hills’ is the greatest show I have ever seen in my life.” [Gawker]

ehhh I think I can see that. I mean think about how long the passage was where he described the business cards. The movie focused a lot of the gore and blood and what not, but the book really draws out the mundane social points and structure, kind of like the Hills.

@peacock- i can see it more in the fact that his first book (the one that made him really famous), less than zero, was all about LA debauchery and bizarre social dynamics. but i think he’s just trying too hard to be a weird dude with his effusive praise of the hills.
