This Week's New Album Releases

It’s new release Tuesday, so it’s time to take the latest tunes for a spin! This week it’s all about the supergroup. Them Crooked Vultures will have you rocking out to the rock love child of Led Zeppelin, Queens Of The Stone Age, and the Foo Fighters. Plus, Norah Jones sings good songs about bad boys, John Mayer battles it out with Jen Aniston, Leona Lewis steps it up as a siren, Robbie Williams misses MJ, Kid Sister busts out with some funky fresh beats, and Felt pays homage to Rosie Perez.

Them Crooked Vultures, self-titled debut
The supergroup formed by Queen Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme, Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl, and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones rocks so hard it will blow your mind and probs your speakers!

Norah Jones, The Fall
Norah Jones is back with a bob and groovable songs about falling for bad boys. Love it.

John Mayer, Battle Studies
Light jazzy John Mayer struggles his personal demons and strums a guitar. And he’s back with Jen Aniston just in time to promote this record. Guess it needs her in more than one way.

Leona Lewis, Echo
The R&B balladeer is killing me softly with her songs.

Robbie Williams, Reality Killed The Video Star
Robbie Williams is back with funky, crunchy pop.

Kid Sister, Ultra Violet
Kid Sister kicks some crazy beats on her debut record.

Felt, A Tribute To Rosie Perez
They’ve paid homage to Lisa Bonet and Christina Ricci. Now MCs Aesop Rock, Slug, and Mur have honored the woman who can make white men jump.

Man, Norah Jone is gorgeous, if a little bit over-makeuped, even though I don’t particularly like that track.
