10 Crazy Trends To Avoid This SpringUpdate your wardrobe for the season and avoiding tricky trends that will just end up taking more space up in your closet.
I still have a pair of docs that are over ten years old. The soles cracked in 2007 when I was working on an archaeological dig in England (rainiest season on record). I bought a new pair of docs later that year and they are AWFUL. The quality deteriorated drastically when they stopped making them in England. They are painful and cheaply constructed.
Although it breaks my heart, I refuse to buy new Docs now, as they are no longer English-made. It feels like a rip-off to pay the same price for a shoe that is now made in China.
If you want REAL combat boots it’s just as simple as going to your local Army surplus store. The boots are generally no more than $60 there too, which beats the heck out of paying $150+
I got myself a pair of Docs with roses going up the sides I figure they scream “Your butts gettin kicked by a chick!” I’m looking into getting a pair from my uncle…ya’ know Uncle Sam.
Hell yeah! My combat boots and I have a long-term relationship. I bought them when I was 13, at the army surplus store. That $20 went pretty far, because after 7 years I’m still rockin’ them.
some of the combat boots are cute but i love this season’s motorcycle boots. no more trying to find a pair of boots that look cute in the winter and i won’t kill myself in heels.
MUST add those high Docs with the grommets to my collection - I already have black, silver & purple and they are the most comfortable things in the world.

@BlueVibe. No. You, janiejones and vivicat are the only three. That’s why there’s such a good selection for you.
@AnitaBath: It would make you completely kick-ass in appearance, and men would falter before you.

@AnitaBath: All men find women who look like they’re wearing flippers attractive. That’s why men who SCUBA never need Viagra.
It’s our secret lust. Well, not so secret anymore, I guess.
