Pajamas just give and give and yet they get no respect. Wear them out of the house and people call you “weird.” Wear them to a party and someone threatens to have you “committed.” It’s BS and we’re sick of it. Not only are pajamas far and away the most comfortable type of clothing, they can also be rather cute. So, in homage to the most underrated clothing items in the world (that we’d personally like to be wearing all the time come to think of it): a pajama slide show.

Notice that this nightie looks more or less like a dress. Throw a sweater on over that for a trip to the store and cut anyone who questions you. [$58, Anne Pinkerton, Anthropologie]

I actually have the last one and it looks like cotton in the picture but it’s actually quite sheer. Definitely a ‘boyfriend sleepover’ pajama and not something I’d want the roommates to see me in!

I own the last item - same color and everything. It’s not what it looks like. :( They should have made it out of cotton. I got rid of mine when I realized I’d never be able to look at it without thinking of my ex’s mom - WHO BOUGHT IT FOR ME.

CHEAP ALERT! Similar onesies are on sale at Target for $20. I love love love mine, but yeah, it’s a little akward going to the restroom… just have to plan ahead better is all.

I have the J.Crew onesie and can attest to the usefulness of the, umm, but flap in matters bathroom related.

Great Selection - but to play off maroon’s comment, I wish there were more PJ’s for women with boobs… the real kind I mean. It is so hard to find cute chemises and cami’s that are flattering on the top. I have one old one in solid from VC with a shelf bra that is ok, but… any ideas?

This just made my day It’s really, really cold here in Wisconsin (duh…) and soft onesies are my reason to get up four months out of the year. Even for those of you not in this frozen tundra of a state (can you tell I hate the cold?), seriously: try a onesie. I guarantee you’ll fall in love.
