Miley Cyrus Writhes Around, Touches Herself Sensuously In Video For “Adore You”

Miley Cyrus Writhes Around Beneath The Sheets, Touches Herself Sensuously In Video For "Adore You"
She Could Do This For Eternity

“Adore You” is perhaps the best example on Miley Cyrus’s latest album, Bangerz, that the girl can sang. Vocally, the song is just great. However, the video, which debuted today, is just hilarious. Watch as Miley, sans fards, writhes around in a nude bra and panties beneath billowing white sheets, holding a video camera as she rubs her body and mouth in ecstasy. I mean, so much excessive mouth touching, I can’t deal. I hope she washed her hands.

Help! What Should Be On Our Ultimate New Year’s Eve Playlist?

Yes, I’m aware that we haven’t even quite made it through Christmas yet, but it can’t hurt to think ahead, right? I’ve got New Year’s Eve on the brain, and I’m already polishing my dancin’ shoes.

For the first time in years, I’m not hosting all of my friends for New Year’s Eve, which means my Christmas tree will remain intact, my floors clean, and random objects in my house will not be put into sexual positions. But there is one thing that will stay the same: I’m in charge of the beats.

This Chihuahua Can Really Relate To Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts”

I have no idea why this Chihuahua named Rosie Pig is wearing a wig and a turtleneck, clutching ice cream, while Bey’s “Pretty Hurts” plays in the background —  but it’s a pretty accurate depiction of what I’m going to be doing in about 45 minutes. [Vine via Buzzfeed]

The Soapbox: On "Pretty Hurts" & Beyonce's Critique Of Airbrushed Beauty Culture
Bey's critique of beauty culture can't be separated from her blackness. Read More »

Beyonce dropped her fifth solo record without warning last Friday around midnight, and the only post-release promotion she’s done thus far has been a couple of explanatory, behind-the-scenes-esque videos about the making of the album. The first, “Self-Titled #1″ was posted the night of Beyonce‘s release, and a second was posted on YouTube and Bey’s Facebook page last night. “Self-Titled #2″ goes into the thinking behind the first track on the album, “Pretty Hurts,” as well as the song’s accompanying music video. Beyonce gives a pretty clear explanation for what all those trophies represent — her many, many achievements and accolades — especially in the context of a song about picking on flaws, being someone you’re not, and being judged based on how perfect you are. Fame, “beauty,” fitting in … it all comes at a cost. Bey explains that this album is about embracing those imperfections. Keep reading »

Watch Katy Perry & John Mayer’s “Who You Love” Music Video

Watch Katy Perry & John Mayer's "Who You Love" Music Video
Bull Riding Is So Romantic!!!!

Guys, I don’t know about this. Katy Perry and John Mayer, two marginally talented musicians who are dating, have put out a song together called “Who You Love” and this morning on “Good Morning America” they debuted the video for it. Refinery 29 nailed it by calling this a “less sexual” “Bound 2,” referring of course to Kanye West’s ridiculous music video co-starring Kim Kardashian. Instead of riding a motorcycle, John and Katy — and a whole bunch of other couples — ride a bull, ecstatic looks on their faces. The bull being a metaphor for relationships, I’m assuming. I like that the other couples in the video are diverse — interracial couples and same-sex couples are well-represented, which is always nice to see. The song is pretty too, if you’re into pretty things. It’s no “Drunk In Love” though. [GMA via Refinery 29]
