Robin Thicke’s Paula Track Listing Revealed — And It’s A Little Nutty

Robin Thicke's Paula Track Listing Revealed -- And It's A Little Nutty

Speaking of “apology tours,” Robin Thicke has released the track list for his upcoming album, Paula — named after his estranged wife Paula Patton — and it is a sad, obsessive mess. We already have heard the single, “Get Her Back,” and the majority of 13 other songs on the album, title-wise at least, seem to be referencing Thicke’s quest to do just that: Keep reading »

The Beyoncélogues: Actress Reads Beyoncé Lyrics As Dramatic Monologues

The Beyoncélogues: Actress Reads Beyoncé Lyrics As Dramatic Monologues
"You MUST not KNOW ... about me."

Ever tried (and failed!) to sing Beyoncé at karaoke? I have! And so has actress Nina Millin, whose terrible attempt at warbling Bey inspired her to try performing some of her songs as dramatic monologues instead. So far, she’s tackled “Irreplaceable” (above), “Mine” and “If I Were A Boy” (after the jump), all of which work perfectly as theatrical monologues. I would really love to see Millin and an actor friend do “Drunk In Love” as a dramatic scene next. I wonder if she takes requests… [via Jezebel] Keep reading »

10 Pop Artists That’ll Make You Feel Like A Tween Again

10 Pop Artists That’ll Make You Feel Like A Tween Again

Last week, we introduced you to some awesome up-and-coming indie bands you should start listening to STAT. This week, we thought we’d take a look at the pop charts and see what artists might achieve superstar status over the coming months. Listen Up: Nicki Minaj’s New Ballad, “Pills N Potion,” Will Give You Life

I’ve always been a little meh on Nicki Minaj, but today the rapper dropped a ballad that is knocking my socks off. “Pills N Potion” is an uplifting, but not-even-remotely cheesy love song directed at her haters and will be featured on Nicki’s upcoming album The Pink Print. “Swearin’ on the Bible that they love you but they’re no different from all your rivals / but I don’t wish death on ‘em, I just reflect on ‘em,” Minaj raps on the pared-down track, giving fans a taste of what they can expect from her next effort. I LOVE it. Listen below! [Rolling Stone]

Lana Del Rey Is A Two-Timing Vixen In New Video For “West Coast”

Lana Del Rey Is A Two-Timing Vixen In New Video For “West Coast”
"Ooh, baby, ooh, baby, I'm in love..."

Seems like Lana Del Rey has traded her signature hair-sprayed bouffant for a headful of relaxed beach waves in the video for “West Coast,” the first single off Ultraviolence, her much-anticipated sophomore album.

The primarily black-and-white clip features Lana frolicking on the beach with a couple of gutter punks intercut with footage of the pop singer lounging with a MUCH older man in the back seat of a convertible. Directed by Vincent Haycock (Florence Against The Machine, Calvin Harris), the video then ends with overlapping color video of Lana being burned alive while wearing what looks to be a red Jessica McClintock, scalloped, off-the-shoulder prom dress.
