Well at Thanksgiving (we have 40-60 family members at thanksgiving on my dads side every year; he is the youngest of 10), I usually see the women cleaning up in the kitchen. A couple of times I've seen my Dad and uncle clean up, but most of the time it's the cousins that clean the kitchen, take away everyone's plate, etc. Usually it is my older girl cousins cleaning up, who are in their 40s. Of course I always notice the guys sitting around, entertaining my 97 year old Grandmother and older aunts and uncles. I am just grateful for the awesome meal, so I try and chip in. In my family, it's more about age than gender. The younger kids are expected to clean up after the older family members that made the meal. — Daley
