There are certain things you can do around this time of year that would be unacceptable during any other month, and wearing velvet is one of them. Something about this fuzzy fabric screams "holiday party!" to me. It's a good thing we have several of those to go to this month, because we found nine velvet dresses to wear while sipping spiked cider and hanging out near the mistletoe.
