Metallics, used alone or to complement (or contrast) other shades, lend a sci-fi edge to an otherwise classic eye. Eyes were rimmed fully in dark grey shadow at Marc by Marc Jacobs with a dash of gunmetal in the inner corners; Jen Kao used a pale silver shade in the same way to visually enlarge the eyes for a wide-eyed, ethereal impression.
