    Tim Burgess of Charlatans UK

This man possessed one of the worst haircuts in rock. The Charlatans — originally known as Charlatans UK — made two seminal albums in the early ’90s: Some Friendly and Between 10th and 11th.  Burgess is still a member of the Charlatans, but also records music under the moniker The Chavs with friends from the Stone Roses and the Libertines. In 2009, he curated a stage for the Isle of Wight Festival.  In 2012, he released his autobiography, Telling Stories, which highlights his years of drug use and debauchery. “I took cocaine every day for a decade,” Burgess said in an interview with Metro. “I would drink at any time of the day – vodka for breakfast – and fall asleep with a bottle of wine next to me on the floor … I was really out of shape and I couldn’t sing in rehearsals. I couldn’t get it together.” He credits transcendental meditation with helping him heal. It may also be why he can tolerate that haircut.
