The Paris Wife, by Paula McLain
This is the story of Ernest Hemingway's Paris -- as originally depicted in A Moveable Feast -- via the fictional account of his first wife Hadley. I loved the concept of this book -- giving voice to the woman who stood by Hemingway during his early years, struggling to make it as a writer. The book is based on factual events -- McLain painstakingly adhered to the events that actually occurred to Hemingway and his circle -- but Hadley's point of view is imagined and, I would say, welcomed. — Amelia Facebook Like
