Sienna Miller summed up this controversial look best when she replied to Giuliana Rancic's on-air "you're barely even wearing any makeup!" exclamation by saying, "Actually, I'm wearing a ton of makeup." Rosario Dawson and Anne Hathaway also chose "natural," fresh-faced makeup for the awards, and looked radiant whilst doing so.

Get The Look: There are quite a few components that go into this look. The foundation of it isn't literally foundation, but a solid skincare routine to keep your face looking its best. As for the makeup — begin by squeezing a dollop of tinted moisturizer or foundation (depending on how much coverage you need) onto the back of your hand. Use a slightly damp Beauty Blender to dab on and blend the formula into your skin where needed for the most seemingly natural effect possible. Hit the high points of the face (tops of cheekbones, chin, bridge of the nose, center of the forehead) with a glowy highlighter — my favorite is Benefit High Beam — and blend it all together for a seamless finish.
