Taking on the role of tattooed and pierced bad ass hacker Lisbeth Salander in the American adaption of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" required Rooney Mara to cut and dye her hair; but unlike some actresses who undergo a makeover for a role and look uncomfortable with the change, Rooney has embraced her edgy new look with gusto.
