8. Breakfast

I live in Portland, and there's a really great breakfast place here called Pine State Biscuits, and I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that literally every other photo in my Instagram feed, on any given day, at any given time, is a Lo-Fi filtered biscuit smothered in gravy. If Instagram has shown us anything, it's that humans have a compulsive need to document and share their favorite breakfast foods. In fact, archaeologists have confirmed that some of the first cave paintings depicted lavish spreads of mammoth sausage and waffles, accompanied by the caption, "NOM NOM." Amelia lives in New York City and is from California, so her regularly Instagram equivalent is breakfast tacos.
