Buffalo, New York, has its own particular breed of strange love. Stemming from a Polish tradition, Dyngus Day has men sprinkling the women they fancy with water. The women then retaliate by hitting the men back with pussywillow branches. And then they eat bratwursts and wings and live happily ever after.
