Few things are as scary as the words “celebrity poet.” But that hasn’t stopped Amber Tamblyn, from the film “127 Hours” and on the TV sho “House,” from penning some free verse. She’s already published three collections of poetry, including the acclaimed Bang Ditto. “[Poetry] is sort of my second life,” she says. “Which is always weird and horrific when you hear actors say, ‘I wrote a book of poetry.’ Like run, run for your life. But truly I’ve been writing my whole life.” And, uh, she’s kinda good. Sample line: “We’d all love to stop eating / the poisonous parts of our wildness.” Right on!
