10 Studies That “Prove” Things Women Already Know About Men
No duh: Men see moving in together as an opportunity to have more sex more often — not necessarily a stepping-stone to commitment.

A study published in the Journal of Family Issues found that women view cohabitation as a stepping-stone leading to marriage, while men view it as an opportunity for more sex. The professor who led the research said that men didn't see moving in together as having "specific connections to marriage" — in fact, they cited "sex" as a reason for moving in together more than they did "love." Perhaps this explains why I once got a tounge-lashing from a priest about how I should never have moved in with an ex-boyfriend without an engagement ring on my finger. (A little advice from me to you: do not move in together unless you are on the same page about your expectations about what "commitment" means!) [Daily Mail UK]
