Kim's partner-in-crime on the tape was rapper/actor/Brandy's brother, Ray J. He'd had a bit of success before the tape dropped in 2007, but he was in a serious lull. The video brought him back to the public eye and led to two seasons of "For the Love Ray J." As a result, the phrase "smash a homie" entered my lexicon. Everyone wins.
