A Cablevision technician was surprised to find a huge black bear sleeping in the basement of a New Jersey house when he went to fix a family's cable. The bear had been spotted earlier in the day wandering around the neighborhood, but no one is sure how it ended up in the unfinished basement of a house. It seems that the bear had been living there for quite some time though -- it had built a nest in the space. Authorities tranquilized the animal and released him into the wild. NJ Herald]
