We'd wager that stripes and plaid are the two most popular patterns found on clothes, followed closely by florals. Paisley, on the other hand, does not get worn nearly enough, and we'd like to change that. Despite being incredibly popular in South and Central Asia, the teardrop-shaped design got its name from the town of Paisley in Scotland. We like it because it seems a little exotic, no matter what it's on -- from swimsuits to sheets.
