To be honest, Milan Fashion Week -- which just wrapped up this week -- isn't really my favorite. The designers that show out of Milan tend to be older, stodgier and less young and fun than their London and New York counterparts, yet lack the romance and refinement of the Paris shows. Considering Milan's position as a somewhat secondary Italian city -- whose place on the world map is linked pretty much solely to its status as a design city these days -- it's not surprising that its designers would be somewhat more limited in their scope. Even so, there was some beautiful clothing coming out of Italy's fashion capital. Check out some of our favorite pieces from the Fall/Winter 2012 collections.
