The Premise: A game show in which tween contestants attempt to track down a rogue spy named Carmen Sandiego to a soundtrack of Rockapella jams.
Why We Loved It: It showed us that memorizing geographic facts wasn't a useless exercise--it could help us save the world! Or at least win a trip to anywhere in the continental U.S. (the grand prize).
What It Taught Us: Don't trust women in red trench coats.
