This super-intense deep conditioner has a very natural, smoky smell that I personally really like, but it is a little bit tobacco-y so it may bother some. It’s incredibly thick but melts into an oil and is meant to be left in for extended amounts of time, then shampooed out. The general time it says to leave it in for normal hair is 20 minutes, but if your hair is particularly damaged or you just feel like doing a really restorative treatment, you can leave it in as long as you want, even overnight, or use gentle heat from a hairdryer to work it in.
