In her upcoming movie “The Danish Girl,” Nicole Kidman will play painter Einar Wegener who was the first person to go through a sex change operation. Wegener went under the knife five times to go from man to woman but died in 1931 after complications. Director Tomas Alfredson said the film will go into production soon and, frankly, I’m pretty excited about it. [News AU]
