Gabby Douglas and teammate Jordyn Wieber were the two gymnasts considered almost locks to make the Olympics team, barring any major upset. During the final night of trials competition, Gabby and Jordyn traded the number one spot -- which guarantees a slot on the team -- as each rotation went on, with Gabby eventually eking out the win over Jordyn (the World Champion) by only a tenth of a point.

Gabby Douglas, 16, is definitely the spitfire of the group, nicknamed "The Flying Squirrel" thanks to the incredible height she gets in all her routines. Super smiley on and off the mat, Gabby kept her promise to do the Dougie if she made the Olympic team.
