Mannequin Toes, Cafeteria Worker Chic, And, Oh Yeah, Bandage Dresses At Herve Leger

I didn't get into the show -- seats were reserved for more important peeps, like Jessica Szohr, Chanel Iman, and Melissa George, all of whom I saw backstage -- but I suspect Herve Leger's fall 2010 collection was all about remaking his famous bandage dress, but in, like, fall colors. However, the backstage beauty report was far more dramatic. Apparently all of the dresses -- which, let's face it, are showstoppers -- were paired with open-toed heels, and as they can hardly be competed with, the beauty was kept totally simple. Sans polish, the hands were treated with oils and conditioning cream. However, the feet were painted with a dusty skin tone color by CND called Desert Suede, resulting in, you guessed it, MANNEQUIN FEET. The hair was pulled back in a sleek, low pony and topped with, uh, a hairnet. Skin was bare and matte, and the only real color on the face was a bright red lip, MAC's Lady Danger Lipstick, and a subtle brown around the eyes (MAC's Technakohl Liner in Plank).
Keep clicking to see some of the dresses from the collection -- before Kim Kardashian, Heidi Montag, and Posh Spice have had a chance to wear them.
