Earlier today, Madame Tussauds in NYC unveiled its Kim Kardashian wax figure. The fake Kim has all the curves and signature brown hair that the real Kim possesses, yet even as a Kardashian fan, I can't for the life of me understand why the world needs a statue that is as manufactured and molded as Kim appears to be. Aren't the countless paparazzi shots floating around the internet and two reality shows enough? Apparently not. But this is actually a pattern at Madame Tussauds -- feeding our uber-celebrity culture with other pointless wax figures of people who haven't really done anything of worth.
