The other day, I was thinking about some of my favorite fashion icons from 1980's TV, and I remembered how much I loved the style of Mallory Keaton from "Family Ties." She gave her suburban print sweaters and leggings and sweater dress sets an urban edginess with her rolled sleeves, cinched waists, and classic '80s hairstyles. Let's not forget Mallory was also the brave Keaton to date Nick, the garbage artist, who at times wore pink and purple belts at the same time. The following three looks were inspired by Mallory's '80s fashions, but would be completely chic today. And check out this blog, Mallory's Clothes, which gives a rundown on Mallory's style throughout the seven seasons.
