The Best
Of all the looks last night, these are my choice four. Emma Stone's (top left) Lanvin confection was a frothy flop, but her radiant skin, peachy lips and cheeks, black liner, and artfully disheveled hair all but made up for her sartorial slip. The hair and makeup Jessica Alba (top right) wore was, I think, the best I've seen her in: her glowing, naturally darker complexion is the perfect base for a stunning take on old Hollywood, with dark berry lips, smoky dark brown eyes, and those glamorous, glossy retro waves pinned to the side. This is also one of the best looks I've ever seen Scarlett Johansson (bottom left) in — it's absolutely perfect on her. This hair is so much more flattering on her than the starchy updo she usually wears to events. Her clean, natural-looking skin is perfect for a touch of winged-out black liner at the outer corners and a touch of vivid color in the form of tangerine lips. My surprise beauty hit of the night was Mary-Kate Olsen (bottom right). Yes, she looks emaciated and mildly crazy (that hair!), but I love her makeup. Messy, smoked-out shadow and heavy blush and contouring paired with almost-natural bitten lips make her look like one gorgeous witchy woman. Facebook Like
