Stylists have become celebrities of late (ahem, Rachel Zoe), but Grace was major before reality TV. She had a retrospective show, "Short Stories," in 1993, the first solo show from a fashion editor's perspective. In 2002 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue, a book collecting her best work, came out the same year. The book is out of print, but you can get a used copy on Amazon.com for $475.
