The Look: Color Club polish had the Threeasfour runway tangled up in dove grey. This distressed net look combined two major nails trends for New York Fashion Week Fall 2012— soft grey and picture framed nails.
The Must Haves: A bottle of Color Club’s special line for nail art: Art Club. And their quick-dry top coat 0-60 Speedy Coat.
The Know How: First, start by outlining your nail all the way around. Don’t worry about how thick or thin or perfect your lines are. The more messed up this net looks the better!
Next, do two or three lines running vertically on the nail, straight diagonal, whatevs. Then, fill in between those lines with even smaller strokes, don’t worry about direction. Just go with it!
Finish with a shiny coat of clear and you’ll have a messed up net that’s only good for catching compliments.
