We've covered the red carpet style from top to bottom, but did anyone notice that it was a sea of purple at last night's Emmys? It seemed every other starlet was draped in a plum-y gorgeous gown. (Safe to say it's the "yellow" of the 2009 Emmys with just about 10 women choosing violet.) From Padma Lakshmi, above, to Ginnifer Goodwin in drape-y Yves Saint Laurent, the carpet was awash in purple. Not that I'm complaining! Check out all the same-hued dress choices—ah-mazing.
