Mine knows I’m a card-carrying feminist, but my entire life, he’s hassled me to watch these totally cheesy, sexist/racist John Wayne flicks where the macho cowboy with a gun and a lasso rescues the damsel in distress from the “Indians.” No, Dad, I’m still not interested in watching “The Searchers” with you.
