We've been avoiding backpacks like the plague since elementary school, choosing instead to punish our backs with less comfortable but much "cooler" totes and messenger bags. And now that we've developed a bit of a Quasi Moto hunchback situation, backpacks are cool again. They were all over the runways during men's fashion week and womenswear designers from Alexander Wang to Prada are also going dork chic with backpacks. We're not quite ready to make a $600 Prada comittment to the backpack's triumphant return, but we're down to spend a little cash in the name of a cute back and, umm, protecting our backs.
