Tease 'Em
Divide the bangs into 3 sections horizontally. Using the fine-tooth comb, tease or rat the back two sections of your hair until it’s standing straight up. It will take a varying amount of comb action, depending on your hair type. I have baby fine hair, so I gotta tease my bangs like I’m in an '80’s hair metal band. Warning, don’t tease the hair in the front section, or your sleek pomp will look more like a bird's nest.
