Before meeting Paradis, Johnny was a notorious Hollywood wild child who dabbled in drugs and destruction. He famously dated Kate Moss, as well as Winona Ryder, whose name he (ill-advisedly) tattooed on his arm. In 1994, he destroyed a New York hotel room and blamed it on an armadillo, claiming that he had found it hiding in a closet and it had then gone crazy, trashing the room before jumping out the window.
