Step 3: Moisturizing
Once your toner has dried, it's time to apply moisturizer. You should moisturize differently in the morning than you do at night. For the morning, use a light vitamin C serum for brightness, and a day cream to hydrate, smooth, and provide a silky base for makeup. Nighttime moisturizing should, for most skin types, include a heavier cream. You can choose to use anti-acne, anti-aging, brightening, or a variety of other formulations. During the day, it's wise to use product sparingly to evade the greases, and you should gravitate towards products containing SPF (which eliminates having to layer it underneath).
