Remember when "The Full Monty" was popular enough to be a Broadway show? If you missed that whole thing, it is about a gang of dudes who become strippers in order to raise money. But their big draw (in a sort of hard-to-believe twist) was that they’d show everything -- the full monty. Maybe I am the odd one out for not getting the allure of male-strippers, I was only subjected the experience once at a birthday party. He was wearing a Zorro costume and there was lot of face-in-crotch dancing. I spent most of the time worried that his sword was going to poke my eye out. His actually sword, not his penis.
In an episode of the NPR podcast, Love and Radio, Sarah Juli visits the mega-mall of male strip clubs-- a multi level club filled with screaming bachelorettes and bridesmaids getting t-bagged. When Juli is pulled onstage, she notes, the men seem to think they are the ones in charge here, grinding on her. So she bends one of them over and performs a good old fashioned shame-humping. I only have one question: Where are these giant male strip clubs? I'll bet Phaedra Parks from "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" would know. She's got the inside track on male strippers like Ridiculous, who can blow themselves.
