Supposedly, R. Kelly entered a secret marriage with Aaliyah when she was 15 years old. In the book Man Behind The Man, Kelly's former personal assistant revealed that the two made their bond legal because Aaliyah was pregnant. He also says that her parents had no idea. "America thinks her parents consented to this,” the book's publisher explained. “The book reveals it was a secret actually from her parents as well. It was something R.
