There's a wide spectrum of parenting methods when it comes to potty training, but super gluing your toddler's hands to a wall and beating her is monstrous. Elizabeth Escalona was sentenced to 99 years in prison for "savagely beating" her two-year-old daughter Jocelyn while her hands were glued to a wall. Jocelyn suffered bleeding in her brain, a fractured rib, bruises and bite marks, and was in a coma for a couple of days. Escalona called this her "potty training punishment." I have no words. [NBC]
