Silverstone is the author of the The Kind Diet and the founder of the website The Kind Life, both of which focus on living a natural, vegan lifestyle. She defended the practice of premastication on "Entertainment Tonight," saying, "I do want to let you know that this has been going on for thousands of years — still going on all over the place — and it’s natural.”
