James Franco missed the premiere for his movie "William Vincent" in April because he was filming "127 Hours" in a "desolate Utah canyon." A source said, "They're shooting in the middle of nowhere, quite literally." If you know what the movie's about (it's based on hiker Aaron Ralston's struggle to survive after a boulder nearly crushed him), you know that Franco was literally stuck between a rock and a hard place.
