Peonies

I am pretty sure that if  you look at my spending habits, you'd see a major spike from mid-April to the end of May. Why? It's peony season and I literally cannot stop myself from buying particularly gorgeous bunches even if I already have a fresh bouquet chillin' in a vase at home. For 1.5 amazing months, my apartment becomes a peony greenhouse of sorts. I can't not buy them when I see them and I always want more. And then, because I've spent so much money on peonies, I cancel all my plans so I can stay inside and appreciate their wonderfulness while I have them. The other 10.5 months of the year are just not as vibrant.
