Independence Day

Winona: For me, any scene that shows the police or the military are helpless against an impending threat gives me major anxiety. It's really weird, because it's not like I have that much faith in either of these organizations in real life, but in a movie when it becomes obvious that they're not going to be able to keep us safe, I can't even handle it. Like, one of the scariest scenes in any movie for me was in "Independence Day" (I know, I know), when the president sends the military helicopter to communicate with the alien ship, and the aliens blow it up like it's nothing.
