First things first: I never wear red lipstick. I have a fatal combination of lips with a tendency to chap and a complete destitution of desire to draw attention to myself, especially my damn face. I own a number of red lipsticks, all of which I have bought with the best intentions and a daydream of a new lease on life, but they collect dust in the back of a drawer somewhere. But I just read this article over on xoJane, and I'm totally inspired. It can be a real challenge to find the right shade for your skin tone, so I thought it would be in my best interest to take cues from the people who know best*: celebrities.
