Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter play siblings on Showtime’s “Dexter,” but romantic sparks flew off-screen and the two were married at the end of December 2008. They sadly split in August 2010 and their divorce was finalized last year. And after all that, the “Dexter” writers decided to explore a romantic (sort of incestuous!) connection between their characters. Talk about a sick joke…
