Bettie Page was one of, if not the most, popular pinup girls during the 1950s. Referred to as the “Queen of Pinups,” Bettie was a Nashville, Tennessee native, and came into the spotlight after appearing in a series of bondage photos, leading to the Kefauver Hearings on obscenity in 1957. Bettie modeled in several magazines throughout her career, with her biggest claim to fame being the centerfold in the January 1955 issue of Playboy magazine. Bettie died in December 2008, but her style and seductress nature still live on today.
