Rub olive oil onto dry cuticles.
Whitening toothpaste corrects yellowish nails (lemon water also works!).
A topcoat of clear nail polish makes any manicure last at least 3 days longer.

Use a whiteout pen to do nail art over dark colors.

Mix eyeshadow with clear nail polish for customized matte color.

Rub vaseline on the skin around your fingernails before you paint them. Messups won’t stick and your cuticles will get super soft.
