5 Wearable Eye Looks From The Spring 2013 Runway (And How To Get Them!)
Dolce & Gabbana
Italian bombshells like Sophia Loren and Monica Bellucci are the quintessential Dolce & Gabbana girls, so it makes sense that the designers pay homage to the screen sirens in the most natural way: an enviable combination of healthy, flushed skin and sleek, sexy cat eyes. Makeup artist Pat McGrath began with a black pencil liner, tracing both along the upper lashline and in and around the waterlines, followed by a touch of shimmery flaxen shadow on the lids to enhance brightness. A fine-tipped black liquid liner was skimmed over the pencil's line, then flicked out at the outer edge. If you aren't blessed with the dexterity of a makeup maestro — are any of us? — do as the peons and use a dampened q-tip to narrow the line and erase mistakes. Try: MAC Penultimate Eye Liner, $19.50.
