We know that many actresses would like to fancy themselves clothing designers on the side, but most of their attempts either fail to impress or are complete catastrophes (see: Lindsay Lohan's Ungaro fiasco). Surprisingly, when models design clothes, some of them actually seem to know what they're doing. Jessica Stam is the latest catwalker-turned-designer, having just completed a collaboration with Rachel Roy. Due out soon in Macy's stores, Stam's work with the established designer has produced an edgy downtown style with rocker-inspired jackets and vests tempered by hipster-y checked jackets and striped dresses.
